IATF 16949:2016 Internal Auditor Training
16 Hours, 2 Day Course
Course Overview
The IATF 16949:2016 Internal Auditor Training course is designed to prepare and train Internal Auditors to assess the effectiveness of the organizations compliance to the requirements put forth in the NEW IATF 16949:2016* Automotive standard which is based on the new ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Internal auditing is the basis for the continuous improvement cycle and is stipulated in the automotive standard. The goal is the development of a Quality Management System (QMS) that provides for continual improvement, emphasizing leadership, defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste. This system will create an improvement tool by which the organization utilizes higher levels of effectiveness and profitability.
Important “new” concepts in this standard will be covered:
- Context of the Organization
- Risk-Based Thinking
- No “Management Rep” in the Standard?
- Greater emphasis on Leadership
- Stricter “Competency” requirements
- Is Preventive Action gone or back in 16949?
Our training also provides the essential team development skills to create dynamic and productive teams. This is often missing in audit and problem solving teams.
This course also instructs Lead Auditors in the “How To” of conducting audit meetings, determining “objective evidence”, writing findings and audit reporting.
